Description
Zetta is the main protagonist of Zettatale, and will be the primary narrator for volume 1. Zetta has retrograde amnesia from tripping and hitting his head hard on a rock when he was 10. He slowly regains very fuzzy memories and faint feelings from before the incident by going through similar experiences, and very vague nightmares. After his head injury, he was taken in by Koda, a boy of the same age who had lost his parents to the ruthless regime that governed them. They quickly became best friends, especially because neither of them really had any family left (Zetta couldn't remember what happened to his family until the end of the prologue, he just knows they can't be there anymore.)

Zetta has a special type of kindness soul, called the mending variant. This allows him to put objects back to their original position in space up to an hour ago, and it always takes place in 30 seconds. For example, if you broke a pencil, then walked away with one half in your hand and one half in Zetta's hand for 10 minutes; and after that Zetta uses his mending power, the pencil will fly out of your hand at 20 times the speed you walked, and both pieces will go back to their original place in space right before you broke it. This is obviously good for healing, but it's also good for battle. This is because the objects Zetta is mending will not collide with him, but it will still collide with any living beings, which could possibly turn into a high speed projectile if it's far enough.
