Description **Full View is a Must**

This is my official last abstract art peice that I will make. I have fallen out of these bryce kind of renders, and I wont do any more. I thought it was necessary to make an official last peice, so people wouldn't be wondering what happened to me. I want to thank everybody who has inspired me.

The two people who I want to thank most, who have made the biggest impact in my 3d-art life are:

You got me into 3d art. You were the one who gave me that first tutorial for Bryce. You are the kind of guy who wanted to make other people better. I was browsing da one day, had just recently heard of it. I was looking at all these really poorly done drawings. I was getting bored and was about to leave. I then saw a peice of your art that would change my life in the world of art. That peice was PixelFight. [link] In your description, you mention Bryce. At the time I didn't know what Bryce was. I didn't even really know what a render was. I went out and got Bryce 5. I then came back and asked for the .br5 file. I was so amazed at how you got so much out of just a few shapes. You gave me a very simple tutorial that was all i needed to get entirely intrigued by 3d abstract art. Thank you for everything you have done.

bullsyepimp

what can i say, you and i became good friends, inspite of living on the other side of the country. You've always thanked me for getting you into art. I should thank you for improving mine. Countless deviations and numerous collabs later, you have helped me learn so much with photoshop, bryce, hell everything. all those summer nights i stayed up until 2:00am to see the final render of a collab we would start and finish the next day. we seemed to have slightly different motivations however. you seem to have grown into wanting to please the community, and getting a lot of publicity. you and i alike were both amazed by breakerr's insane 3d art. but i was intrigued for a different reason. i wanted to be like him not because he was the most popular, but because he was the best, not better than anybody else, but the best because he loved to make this art. i know, that this isn't your favorite peice of mine, but i hope you also know that it is the most meaningful out of all of my work. this is for everybody listed above, and for myself. this is a thanks to everyone who has inspired me throughout my time of making art. and this is also a thanks especially to you, cody, for making my art what it is today, whether you like how it is or not.

Description:
Yes, this was going to be a collab, but i fealt it necessary for my final to be just like my first, alone and entirely by myself. If anybody wants this as a print, i'll tell bullsyepimp, so he can hopefully agree to putting it on his prints page.

Original render:

the render, at resolution 3,000 by 4,500, at such a huge size so i could make a 20"x30" poster out of it, took 30.5 hours at level 16 in bryce. with 29 objects including lights, and 7,168 polygons, it certainly took a while.

Art Work:

psd file: 106 mb
full jpg file: 6.25 mbs
smaller (1/2 size) jpg file: 1.68 mbs at resolution 1,500 x 2,250
post work time: ~ 8 hours.

Programs Used:

Bryce 5
Photoshop 7.0

again, thanks to everybody who inspired me. farewell.

WHAT?!?!? How did I miss this?

Seriosuly beautiful. The lighting and negative space play off each other perfectly. Thank you very much for the tribute as well. I'm sad to hear you leaving the 3d scene, but as I seem to be as well, I cannot really reprimand you much...

...and as green always was my favorite color for 3d....

The color in this piece, although suttle is very powerful ...

Everything looks so crisp... very nice render

Well it's always sad to see someone go, but I know how ya feel. Anyway i'm glad to have had some sort of impact on your artwork. You have really come a long way in the artist aspect of your life. Definatly congratulations on your last piece! The render is spectacular and the colors have an extremely powerful but still keeps a soft mood. Awesome way to mix both moods into one image! Well take care my friend and keep in touch for sure!

you shouldnt say its your last peice you might want to do more some day... this is pretty damn good... you should try other programs besides bryce... cinema 4d or 3d studio max... but it is your decision.. nice work
