This photo was originally intended to be a self portrait, but Carl just carries it off so much better than I did.

The idea behind it is fairly simple. Sometimes I feel like theres two versions of me. Theres the social klutz that you all know and love on the outside, and theres the cynical critic on the inside, quietly dissaproving of everything the other me does. Slowly making me more akward and introverted.

Is anyone else this crazy?

Anyway, this was a double exposure onto 5x4 sheet film. I used horizontal shift in the film plane. Shifted one way, made an exposure, shifted the other way, made another exposure. Muchos fun, eh!
