Taken last weekend in the early morning hours just before a failed sunrise was to take place.

The river was running slow and was a clear emerald green. Scud clouds were forming off of the face of El Capitan. A majestic scene!

Here is my attempt to catch that quiet early morning stillness and beauty.

I thank the Aperture Academy for getting me to Yosemite. I haven't been there in the month of February in many years.
