This is Maxwell.

He is an Artificial Life-form, one that had spent his formative years as an adaptive killing machine meant to wander, fight, and explore.

After a chance encounter and a down-to-the-wire win by Matthew and Nicole, He had then scanned them before shutting down and rebuilding himself, with no memory of who he was.

The Robot body he has is technically his third one, as his original was basically beyond repair and the second being a 7 foot tall behemoth used as wireless support drones.

His off-duty form is basically just a hard light hologram, with the option to fully disconnect from the body and escape in case of extreme emergencies. Being not beholden to a permanent body, he maintains his more anthropomorphic form out of familiarity, though he does have a human holographic form when circumstances need so.
