Deep in the scarcely explored jungles of Alola, adventurers claim to have seen a huge, long-necked River Monster. For years science has dismissed it as being a Lapras that got lost upstream…. that is until one trainer finally caught it. Humans have previously tried to introduce Tropius into Alola, however due to competition with the much larger Alolan Exeggutor, it had been deemed impossible. The Discovery of this form of Tropius living in the wild stood to prove it was possible, at the cost of the Pokemon’s flight. It has lost the need for legs, and its once-powerful flight fronds have been re-purposed into flippers. The large water lily growing on its back is also how it both stays buoyant and photosynthesizes, and also makes for a good home for small Pokemon. One mystery remaining is why instead of Nanab berries, Alolan Tropius now bears Pinap berrries under its chin.
Surprise, one that isn’t for PokeJurassic Park. No it’s not because I can’t think of a new form for Carracosta, why do you ask?
