Description
One of my favorite old school movie monsters, Talos was greated by the amazing Ray Harryhausen for JASON AND THE ARGONAUTS. According to the article at Gwangipedia, the bronze giant was intended to be 70 meters tall to match the historical Colossus of Rhodes, but I think there is an error here. The Colossus was 70 cubits, not meters, tall. The Statue of Liberty, 108 feet from foot to crown was designed to match the colossus in height.

Whatever the intent, my estimate of the huge mechanical men's on screen height is 190 feet, or 57.9 meters, or 126.7 cubits.
