This one sent a chill through me from the very first glance and still does every time I look at it. lol
The first moment I saw it, even as a small photo, I thought of that creature on the movie Pan's Labyrinth. I cannot recall his name at the moment but he was the one that chased Ofelia from the table and through the halls.

Absolutely gorgeous.
I love how you kept the picture colorful. Too many photos with a macabre subject rely on being dusky and dim to convey their message. It's so much more powerful to see a beautiful picture contrasted with a harsh subject.

I'm a writer, and I'm always looking for good photographs and artwork in general, not just because I love art, but also because sometimes I see art that I'd love to see on my books. Very interesting. I really like it. The red isn't too bold to where it looks like it was a purposeful pose. Everything subtly speaks for itself in a very broad manner. The picture looks real, if anything of this sort can. Is there something in particular you used to create this look. I have a little dinky walmart 50$ camera, and almost no knowledge what-so-ever when it comes to pictures. So, any advice you have to give, i would really appreciate it.

For this particular picture? It's a fish tank (or aquarium), with a backdrop (for the green/blue/yellow colours), and using an open light bulb from one side, in a dark room, to get the gradient. I did it on a table in my room, trying not to drown

it looks rather morbid, in small view, i thought it was like... a goldfish...
[blood] or anything thing liquid under water, causes some amazing effects, and you snared it well
the mask, though a bit macabre has a very... bizarre feel, kinda making it realistic, providing texture... but then against the smooth elements of the photo (the red, and the blurred background) creates an abstract/unreal quality... very cool
