since watching Princess Mononoke for the first time, where there's this destroyed hut at the end, which is recaptured by nature,I'm hooked up with man-made structures, who decay and nature' coming back and stuff. I think this is,what makes old ruins beautiful,I don't like these castle ruins, because they're are restored and there are simply any flaws,it's just boring, like you could build something like this today too,and it would be nothin special at all, decayed buildings are far more beautiful and the show a lot of,what should I call it,"strength" to still be here, and i really love looking at them, looking at small details and I'd probably spend a few hours in this room, just to take photographs,If I'd be there, but you've captured a lot of this room's lovely features in one single picture, respect for that. thank you very much for sharing this picture,it's truely beautiful.Thx a lot.going to check out your other submissions now

Wait what? This is a real... Photograph?!
Oh my gosh. This is such an amazing shot. You captured the room in it's entirety and the lighting was absolutely perfect... But due to the condition of the room, and to see moss only covering half of the bed and such, it looked at first like it was a really amazing painting or something. To know this is a photograph... That's absolutely fantastic.
Great shot, I wonder how long it's been abandoned. O:

Yeah, it is a photograph
And it's abandoned for less than 5 years actually.

Surpisingly, it's really not benn that long, less than 5 years in this case. Even though this is the only place i know with that amount of vegetation after such a short time.

Fantastic image! Umm... I hope you had a mask on while in there though as places like that could have dangerous particulates in the air.

I think this particular place is as harmful as walk in the woods the good thing about mold is, it's only harmful if you breathe in the particulates all the time, i'm more afraid of asbestos.

You gotta get rid of the roof as well though, at least parts of it

It's kinda creepy but I like it: nature takes back her rights. And the colours are beautiful, more light would be great though. Nice photo!

the funny thing is, all other decayed rooms don't have vegetation growing in them and the room right next to it has no decay at all. but the right amount of moisture and light can bring up amazing things
