Simply amazing. I'm just wondering why the spiral effect is horizontal relative to the landscape, rather than parallel to it.

a spiral effekt is round... what in round is horizontal or parallel?

Haha.. that's not my point. I just thought you'd only see this effect if you pointed your camera straight up to the sky.

Hmmm... I am interested if U have tried that with longer exposures, for example 5minutes trails, sticked together? Is the noise critique?
π: 0 β©: 1
MatthiasHaltenhof In reply to tangratannakra [2007-06-24 10:40:29 +0000 UTC]
i think this is the better way, because the noise is almost non-existent and the foreground is not overexposed. i tried 5 minutes exposures, but i think 30 seconds works best.

But U know that Ur camera has some working capacity of the Mirror... I think something like 100 000 shots... Which is not that much If U make a lot of stacks About the problem with the overexposed foreground... May be start shooting earlier? Doesn't matter -U have made Great shot!

yes i know the camera has a limited amount of shots, but i guess it's worth.

Surprised you did not make this a print!
That would have been very hard to do. To get the right length and not over expose the film.

yes we were sitting in that fiedl for 80 minutes
~koyle and me bought some camping chairs for these kind of photos, so we set up the cams, hook in the remote shutter release and chill

wow

z-o-r-n In reply to MatthiasHaltenhof [2007-06-24 16:54:12 +0000 UTC]

MatthiasHaltenhof In reply to z-o-r-n [2007-06-24 20:24:39 +0000 UTC]

z-o-r-n In reply to MatthiasHaltenhof [2007-06-25 13:16:41 +0000 UTC]
