Wow, that looks like a fantasy painting. I feel like if I look hard enough I'll spot the dragon.

Whoaaaah. Fantastic shot, those colours are incredible.
I know it's not stock, but could I ask a favour? Can I use this as a basis for an illustration? I'm currently drawing a lot of Hannibal, and this would be pretty close to the place - and time of year! - where he crossed the Alps. Maybe as a general idea? I wouldn't copy it exactly if that's okay.
If you say no, it's fine. I just had to ask.

Thanks
Yes you can use it for an illustration, you're welcome. Just mention my picture for the "landscape inspiration" and let me know when when you'll publish it
If you need specific resolution or size send me a note

Thanks for your help! No, I'll be fine with the resolution here. I'll probably change the mountaintops to snowcapped for the narrative, though.

Well done impressive image! Although I agree with *DimensionSeven ; the wb could benefit from cooling at lleast if you apply it jjjust on the gras. maybe vibrance Reduction could do that too. But thats ttotally a matter of personal taste and style

IMO the WB is a tad too warm.
Besides that, it's a true gem!

Thanks !
I know that is really warm, but it was like that. Especially these trees surprised me by the way they really get golden with a bright light !

How do you get your landscapes to be so crisp and sharp? Do you use a special lens? Very Very Pretty. I love the crispness and the light. The trees where I live never turn color, from February to December they are green, so it is a treat when I can see such beautiful scene. Thank you.

The main thing is that I use a tripod to most of my shots to help avoiding blur.
Then, I use on that one a polarizer to "pop" the colors, and apply a little saturation/contrast setting during raw post processing to "finish" it.
Happy to see you like the result

I really do like it, I've decided that since I am really not that good with portraits that I will concentrate on landscapes, there seems to be more ways you can go with landscape photography if you want to sell it, portraits are portraits, and your photos inspire me. Landscapes are amazing because though they are one scene, people see different things, notice different things in different ways within that scene. So it's really I think more fun to take landscape photos. I think one of the most interesting thing about landscapes is that you can take two photos on two occasions or within two different hours and something will have changed with lighting, maybe the light shifts when it is later in the day, or looks different in different seasons, or in different types of weather, within color, maybe the trees have turned color, maybe the grass has died and is no longer green, or maybe structures have changed maybe there was not enough rain so a stream dried up, or maybe there was too much rain and a mudslide occured. So in that all photos are very unique, especially with the light because the way light reflects off of what you see determines what you see and how you see it.
I hope you will not ever stop taking photos, yours are inspiring to us who want to do what you do.

Thank you so much for your compliments.
You're right, landscape photography enables you to do take your time and show different things depending from the time of the day, the season, the light and everything ! I wish you all the best for your next landscape photographies !
