My contest entry for the "Beasts of 9 Creature Contest":

This is a mantis-like creature made from scrap such as an old stop sign, some pickaxes, flashlights, tubing and a human jawbone.

Created as a digital painting from an initial pencil sketch.

Thanks to deviant art for hosting the contest, the creators of the movie "9" for giving us artistic folk a chance at glory and finally I'd like to say thank you to all my fellow deviants for their participation in creating a competitive, but friendly, environment to inspire and bring out the best in all of us.
