Awesome picture. I'm wondering, were there any after effects at all? Photoshop or anything? The skin on her face along with the gradual lightness coming down from the peak are almost surreal.

Yes, I am quite the photoshop junkie haha. I spend quite a lot of time with the processing side of things. 'Tis what makes my photos I guess..

Very nice! Looks great I think, just a couple of minor issues for me.
Unless this was made for a specific purpose instead of as a standalone photograph, there's a couple of things I notice.
-The lighting is a little strange (which could work) which pulls the attention right out of her hair and the rest of the photo, and sort of takes away a lot of the detail, along with the post processing on her face. (I assume, she could just have perfect perfect flawless skin on her face)
-The pulling of the detail from the elements other than her eyes means almost all the attention is eventually drawn to them, which is fine and that's where you're pulling people in I think, but it feels like her eyes a positioned in a funny place (in the frame, they're in exactly the right place on her face) meaning that some of that attention ends up feeling just a little uncomfortable, I think when you have a specific detail which you might (might not) be focusing on, it's safer (but not always best) to put them on one of the thirds lines.
These points I've made aren't particularly strong, just trying to put something into my comment, this'd look right at home in any Australian magizine (maybe not any, mainly the mainstream ones, I once read a trucker magazine cover to cover)(now I'm trying to make this personal because I read you were Australian on your page) and in a lot of situations, all the points I've made are made pointless, meaning anybody could slap some text and a picture of a perfume bottle on top of this and sell something.
So yeah, thanks for reading through all that, and sorry,

I have taken everything you have said into account.
About the lighting - it was a very dull Winters day so I had to enhance the lighting with some processing. I agree that it does look a little odd.
