Description
I don't typically work the ink this wet, but here is a portrait created with stone ground ink and a dagger brush. I typically grind the ink with very little water so that it has a very thick, paint-like, feel. You can see my other paintings in my gallery for examples. But here I watered the ink down quite a bit to get those grey values. While I have moved away from this method, I still kind of like this portrait sketch.
