Description
This is a color commission for ~ZabalouJeff Wamester did the lines [link] He was also commission by Zabalou. I was excited to color Jeff's piece since i love his work. He really nailed this one.
I have this old small magic book from like the 30's or 40's that's made from newspaper print so i decided to make this look a little bit like that in terms of color and texture. I like how it turned out.

That would be the coolest comic book on the spinner rack- I love these two characters! Nice job- I like the Golden Age/old comic look, and your take on the World's Greatest Paranormal Investigator and Logan (James Howlett) looks prett bad-ass, too

did such a great rendition first, it was such an awesome gift, of course i have commissioned him and i know how much he is a dawn good artist, but this [link] Aces High was so unexpected, wow.

If anything compliments that texture, it's the typography. It makes a great use of the space, and what's left blank is filled out by that old newsprint feeling.
