So I was re-watching previous seasons of the Pokemon anime and something in a particular episode caught my eye.

In an episode of the DP season, when Ash is battling the head of the Sinnoh Battle Frontier (who just so happens to be Barrys dad), Ash's Torterra (when it was still a Grotle) accidentally swallows an Energy Ball he's about to use. To everyone's surprise, it ends up giving Grotle a huge power boost, though he still ended up losing.

It actually got me wondering if that could be done with other pokemon moves on other pokemon. Since I was in my Lucario form while I was watching these episodes, it got me wondering what would happen if I ate an Aura Sphere.

With my curiousity peaked, I gulped one down, and the results were surprising.

The power boost was immediate, and not only that, my wings that normally appear in my mega evolved form manifested. Seems the power boost I got was more than enough to make them appear now, but as much as i was enjoying this newfound strength, I quickly got a big wake up call. Turns out I not only got a power boost from eating an aura sphere but a big height boost as well. My height practically doubled after eating it, going from just over 7' to 14' really quickly. Quite the shock, especially for my poor couch.

I'm gonna have to experiment with this ability a bit more, but next time I should do it outside from now on, or at least in a place with high ceilings.
