I haven’t posted anything on DA lately, but to celebrate 143 day, I have decided to draw a Mister Rogers Cardigan for art class, to which it may hint he next masterpiece I’m working on. You see, the drawing itself not only represents the red sweater with a little bit of detail as seen what Fred Rogers originally wore in Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood, and also the background being inspired by the original set the show takes place. If you don’t know what the day is, 143 day is the 143rd day of the year which it celebrates the legacy of the positive and and the most friendliest television neighbors, Fred Rogers, and his special code, “143 is each number representing a letter in each word.

1 = I
4 = Love
3 = You

It really shows how much Mister Rogers’ love and legacy can be shown in many ways, in which he’s one of the inspirations who helped me to get through tough situations like divorce, war, racism, assassination, death, etc. to which his songs and his teaching can help young minds to handle if those events occur, and also teaching you about being special, being kind, being a friend, having a positive mindset, etc.

Just like Mister Rogers once said,
“Love isn’t a state of perfect caring. It is an active noun like 'struggle.' To love someone is to strive to accept that person exactly the way he or she is, right here and now.”
