I think it would be better if you turned on the app labels. I can tell what somethings are (the e=mc2 is calculator and the bird is prolly twitter etc.) but not others like what's the one with the sunglassees.

I like the idea of personifying the icons. They look more inspiring, rather than the dullness of the iPod's regular icons.
And I like the geek, Monday, and picture icons the best personally.
