Description
The beast is dangerous enough with it's razor sharp teeth, spiked tentacles and jelly fish-like tendrils used for stunning and electrocuting larger prey but none of these is it's most frightening asset.
The creature has the ability to mentally control water, allowing it to bring with it, where ever it goes, a torrent of water to swim in. The swirling waters contain creatures as well so if his maw or the living waters he commands don't get to you then the creatures he's brought with him most likely will.

I tried to think "If you were on land and a water rift opened up, how best could the sea world lay siege with you having the land advantage?" Why, bring the water with you of course.
