Birthday request for which was 27 marchrequest:
make a NaruHina getting together by chance story of some kind.
And I know you've done this like four times, (at least) but I'm a sucker for them.

Oh, yes......the confession......
It's really has been awhile since then. I know that Kishimoto has alot of ideas, but I'm kinda looking for a bit of closure for this thing. I'm not saying that I want the manga to end(OR the anime). I'm saying that I would like to see SOMETHING happen that will hopefully clear up all the thoughts on how Naruto really feels about what Hinata said to him during the Pain fight, as well as whether or not Hinata reached Naruto with her feelings of love towards him. I know that there is alot of things that are going on, and the war doesn't seem to be ending anytime soon........I was hoping that eventually......we'd get something nice.....another good NaruHina moment, but not just ANY "moment". Just a good answer is ALL I ask.....or maybe even Naruto saying that he'll talk to her later about it. Still, I do get it that it'd be possible that a big chunk of people might give up on the manga if either NaruHina, SasuSaku, or NaruSaku happened.....or...(God forbid) NaruSasu were to happen........ . (For those Yaoi fans who like NaruSasu, you are free to like that. That's you. You can do what you do, and I'll do what I do. Just putting that out there.)
Anyway, I like how this came out, too, Matt. To see Naruto and Hinata so focused on the subject of how they feel about each other makes me yearn for the day that Kishomoto chooses to finally put the love interests to rest. I also like how the trees looks, it's leaves flowing in the wind as Naruto and Hinata eyes meet at the end of the paths they walk. Perhaps, he(Kishimoto) could be saving his answer for a much later date in the manga. Who knows? There may not even BE any couples ever going to appear in the manga(let's hope that doesn't happen.....). There are so many restless Naruto "couple shippers" who have been fighting over and over and over about who will end up with whom, instead of enjoying the manga. My Chatango friend Pyschotic and understand this well, and truly enjoy the Naruto characters as they should be loved INSTEAD of just waiting day in and day out hoping for their favorite couples to be with one another. Don't misunderstand, though. Psych is a definite NaruHina fan, and is a NaruSaku fan, but they really love the Naruto manga, in a proper and mature way. Couples are nice to see and they can be fun to talk about(even cracked-parings), but we should'nt let our obsession for our love for NaruHina, NaruSaku, SasuSaku, or whatever couple you support(and that includes any other manga) cloud our eyes from the mangakas storyline and the depths he went through to make it interesting and fun to read. We are free to love our couples that we support, but let us not forget how good the manga is from it's all the jutsus we see, the funny goofball moments, to the deep and heartwarming parts that really pull us in farther and farther as we turn every page. Of course though, I'm only suggesting this. You are free to stay in your obsessions, and just do what you want. I wanna love the couples that I like and support them, but I also want to really love the manga and it's action, it's drama, and it's comedy as it plays out from chapter to chapter. Like Carlos Mencia said.....

i couldn't agree more, but there's something i think you missed. please understand that i don't write manga in anyway, I'm simply a critique so i cant confirm this. but something I've noticed in many popular mangas is that they would give a big lead into something that can drastically change the current plot, they would hang on to that one idea, not giving any increase to it for a few chapters, then after about 10 or so chapters they would reveal what that lead was in great detail in a climactic sorta way. this is only based off my observations, but its a possibility that authors, like Kishimoto, would state a future plot-change through the manga, like an announcement made by the characters, but not really have the actual idea in mind. so as the chapters progress, something might hit him and he'll then add to the plot-line from where the announcement left off. let's use "Hinata's Confession" as an example for this. Maybe Kishimoto wanted to add more to a drama part of Naruto so he used Hinata to kick start it, leaving the reaction later, Kishimoto would use the fans reaction to come up with an appropriate continuation on Hinata's Confession, because you have to understand that a huge portion of the fan-base will be thrilled to the unveiling of a Naru x Hina relationship taking place in the official manga, but the other portion (lets say the NaruSaku fans) will be sincerely pissed off at it. so he has to come up with a way that will leave uncertainty to what will come of the whole "confession" deal in a way that makes both groups happy. Its like being the president, he has to develop ideas that makes republicans AND democrats content. Sorry if I'm not explaining this too well. its a topic that i haven't touched in a while, but i hope it helps you and a few others that the only real reason that Kishimoto postponed the "reply" is so fans like matt here come up with beautiful fanfics like this one and possibly have an outline on what he'll do for the official manga.

There are tons of fans out there who may just be reading the manga only for that, which is why I was hoping that people would enjoy the Naruto manga/anime as a whole. I know that Kishimoto would have to do something to prevent fans from dropping the manga, for as you said:

I understand that Kishimoto has to please the fans, and try not to lean to much into being seen as a "shipper" himself(Although, I don't know if he has a coupling he likes or not, but I'll try not to assume anything). And yet, I see so many people acuse him of being a NaruSaku or NaruHina, or even a NaruSasu(and so on)! The fans tend to overdo things and end up making improper and miscalculated accusations of the mangaka's thoughts and direction of manga. It happens. I, too, have done that. It's not cool. I do not know everything that Masashi Kishimoto is planning,(I'm not the most perceptive person in the world) but I want to try and see more into his work and enjoy it for everything he puts into it, or whatever that I am able to grasp.

Seriously, they NEED to have Naruto answer Hinata's confession! I mean, she risks her life to save his and confesses to him, OUT LOUD, that she loves him! Now we're almost two years past that confession and Naruto has not said a thing about returning her feelings! Seriously, they need to do something about that!
