But in Japanese language and culture...
Sometimes instead of just calling them by their name--if there is a significant age difference between them (like Naruto and Hanabi) in-lawsΒ would probably refer to them as "brother" or "sister"
Basically, referring to Naruto as "Big Brother", Hanabi would just be calling Naruto her "Brother-in-law" even before Hinata and Naruto's wedding
Though...That in and of itself would still be enough to be embarrassing...and for Hinata to blush and faint
