Description
This is my little daughter and her funky ways. She just sits inside those laundry baskets to chat, colour or read to me while I'm busy doing house chores.This picture is my favourite so I had to honour it by doing a vexel. Sorry about the simple background, but after spending so many hours on the main vexel, my brain cells went catatonic on me.
Anyway, I realy like the result.

I used to do that! My uncle would come over once a week to do his laundry, and he had a basket just like that. I would pretend it was a boat and use wooden spoons for oars.

Aw, its so cute. It definitly brings back mermories of being a kid. The warmth of the laundry that had just come out of the dryer. Although I do still fit in baskets, but I tend to get stuck; so no more of that. I remember when I'd used to build cushion castles, and pull a blanket over 'em, lol.

That's a very sweet image. I don't know a great deal about vexels - but most of the ones I see go for a look I would describe as glossy and shiny, super-sharp. This image is soft and slightly impressionistic, and perfectly fits the subject. So it seems to me like a nice application of the technique outside of the ordinary style I usually see it used for.

Such an adorable and lovingly rendered portrait! I remember when a laundry basket really was all I needed to be entertained for hours. At least be grateful she isn't using as I did (as a car/bobsled).
