Hard to tell at first glance what to make of Gilda. She's there to be a spoiler no doubt, but I can't tell if it's her deliberate plan or someone else's.  And I have a nasty feeling that Applejack is going to rip Twilight something fierce, but....maybe not. This story has surprised me before. Can't wait to see what happens next.

Hehehehe.  This is getting better an better, as the story goes along.  Applebloom's adorable.  I'm amazed that Big Mac has more speaking lines in this story.  Twilight has a crush on Big Mac~.  Awwww, that's so cute.  So this means that Twlight and Big Mac will be a couple in the future?  And does this mean that Applejack's mother's death could be a factor as to why Applejack has never made any friends?

But there's something missing here.  Someone who is essential to the continuation of this chapter...

Awesome chapter. Big Mac is so nice. and I'm seeing Big mac and Twi shipping. Applebloom is one of Spike's friends? Wonder if he knows Sweetie Belle and Scootaloo? So their dad is alive, but not their mom. Well that rules deceased parents off the list of why A.J is a recluse. And Gilda, it's nice seeing she's like her recent reformed self from Treasure of Griffonstone. And Fluttershy, she can be really scary when it involves hurting animals. I surely hope Twilight gets through to Applejack. Well, I'll be looking forward to the next chapter.

Great chapter overall, but Fluttershy was really out of character here.  In a previous chapter, Rainbow Dash had already declaired that she didn't share her preference for vegitables, and while I can certainly see Fluttershy objecting to a meat diet, I cannot see her reacting this violently unless somebody deliberitly provoked her.

That said, nice job with Applebloom.  I didn't expect her to already be friends with Spike.  I wonder how Applejack would feel about that.  Speaking of Applejack, I'm at the edge of my seat as we get closer to finally learning her backstory and what made her this way.  I suppose it's too much to hope it'll happen in the next chapter, right?
