[I like the idea of Tony seeing a lot of himself in Peter. I wanted to draw an image that kinda resembles those parents carrying children on their backs poses but also something soft and simple. Tony’s bruised up cuz he represents the present, someone who’s older and deals with fights as they come and Pete’s on the ‘turtle’s’ shell, unharmed but looking in the same direction. So cute and sweet, they really look like father and son. Tony desperately wants to protect Peter and prevent him from suffering the same way he has but Peter's a superhero too and will eventually experience pain and suffering just like Tony has. It's the struggle not only being a parent but being a parent of a superhero.
