Strikes me as it looks really much like the "bats" from Silent Hill Downpour. Look it up if you like, some nasty viscious creatures. Pale as a corpse, nasty face, tall and broad shoulders.Β
Your creature is amazing, drawing is flawless! I love the shape of the head, really original! And I really like the position of the eyes! As for my opinion about evolution of that beast, I wonder what their alimentation is? Did they used to hunt by flying? Diving onto their prey? If not, maybe the wings were defensive as an escape option to flee danger.Β Maybe this creature eats fruits! Like large bats, who knows!
Now they are evolved into a humanoid shape, they now find their food elsewhere. Would they still hunt? Use tools? Depending on the amount of time since their race evolved, in the future, I think they would loose the webbing between their fingers and wings. Fingers getting more vestigial and maybe more agile, adapted to the new hunt. They would look pretty creepy with thin long fingers... Great job Sir, as always! Thank you! I figure they'd be too heavy to be able to attain lift at this point but they can drop down from great distances using their "wings" to soften the drop, kinda' gliding downward. I'm guessing they'd eat bugs, maybe the bugs have evolved to be larger. I probably should have squinted the eyes more because I was thinking they would not be used to light and any light would be a big irritation to their eyes.

Lucky, my family realised that but my school didnt... well at least the school psychologist was'nt so stupid as the teachers, (although in retrospect it might have been a bad idea to draw zombies being chopped up and impaled bodies on the back of my tests and in my books... XD)

Useless wings, hmmm I dont know. The upper body has a great muscular hump with a scant lower body and a good size wingspan. I bet this guy can get airborne or at least stay aloft after dropping into flight, imo anyways. Love your design work as usual.Β

oh wow! this is really awesome! it reminds of something like the falmer from skyrim mixed with a vampire. also, the inward curve in the calve is a very interesting design aesthetic! Very good job as always!
