After seeing Alien Covenant I was inspired to come up with a Neomorph/Protomorph type creature. I figured I'd combine the two into what I'd imagine David's next iteration would be getting closer to the biomechanical. BTW I liked the movie a lot!Related content

Quite a spectacular concept, you really went out of your way to sweat out the details.Β
The idea to place a human-like skull underneath the traditional Xenomorph headcrest in a sort of translucent protective casing is inspired and terrifying at once. I think I would've liked the movie a lot better if this was the design for the Neomorphs.

The original 1979 creature had the translucent dome with the skull as well as the Protomorph in the latest Covenant. (the one trying to break the glass) You couldn't see it but in the behind the scenes footage the skull is there

What exactly are they trying to create( David, Engineers)? I mean are they trying to create something intelligent? Or beasts used for war?? Because all they do is use any life form as hosts for their offspring.
