I printed out a copy of the pen-and-pencil version of Enter Ricky Raptor (www.deviantart.com/maxerikson/… ) and added color, making changes to how I imagine their skin tones (digital color version here: www.deviantart.com/maxerikson/… ). It started when I was thinking that I may like Jenny better with a dark skin tone, so I made this to see how I feel. I'm happy with how Ricky and Jenny turned out, but I think in the future, I will swap the skin tones of Chase and Amy. As you could probably tell, I had trouble with Amy's pants. I just did NOT have the right colored pencil.

I've been thinking a lot, recently, about what I would change if I were to do a remake of Ricky Raptor Adventures, with new drawings, color added to old drawings, and a rewrite of the story. I even been keeping notes of these changes, and I want to share them here!

Ricky is actually able to use the Zeactpher Spheres individually, but not for combat, at least not offensively.

When Kyo used his divination spell, there was someone before Ricky Raptor who was most likely to become the next Zeactpher Hero; but instead of brainwashing them, Kyo killed them. He planned on placing the next two candidates under his control.

Jenny's father is her official mentor in her archaeology training.

Jenny knows where the first four Zeactpher Spheres are located from the start; how to reach them is the part that takes time.

The first fight against Jacky Tyrone is the half-way point, instead of the first fight with Kyo.

Jessica remains with Team Raptor after they save her from Jacky Tyrone, who appears more regularly.

Merpeople are now called 'merma'.

Maybe: make everybody one year younger; Milica is a more important character; Amy met Ricky shortly before his disappearance; more romance in Rip, Rock, & Roll, more action in The Pearl of Light.

I make no promises, however, that I'll actually do a remake. I stopped doing story drawings after Detective Shanks for a reason, and I have a lot going on right now.
