Description
This is a next version of the dress up game, this time a number of features were added and improved, locking is much more acurate, for example. Also I've separated the items into two pages (there are about a hundred of them and they didn't really fit). Also, instead of having three models like last time this one has one customizable one (change face, complexion, etc.)Also, when I was making the preloader (by far the simplest part) the programm managed to crash four or five times in about half an hour...

This is the first dress up game I've ever seen w/ so much detail in the clothing
the denims and sheer/see through-ish clothes are amazingly well done.
and all the clothes are very fashionable and trendy too [:

Aww, thanks ^^ Yeah, I try to be as "realistic" as possible and I like semi-transparent clothes, because they can be combines with many different-coloured shirts underneath.

And that's exactly what it says on the shorts, you have to zoom in quite a bit to really see it though, but thanks to the magic of vector graphics you can ^__^

anyway, how did you learn to use these programs? from college? tutorials and self educated?

Well, I've learned C++ in High School and Colledge, and the ActionScript from a couple of online tutorials, there are a bunch of examples on the Internet. But I found ActionScript easy, it took me less then a week to start making a game that was relatively complicated (much more so then the DressUp Dolls ^^), there aren't that many things that one needs to know about ActionScript per se.

You can check out [link] it has a lot of tutorials and downloadable projects that you can "reverse engeneer" to fit your needs, just that for me, I like to look at the code rather then read the textual description, because usually they take a page to describe how to open a script editing window, or something trivial like that, while the code itself shows directly what I need.

I found that for the most part Action Script is pretty easy, the overall syntax is similar to C# or Java. It is less strict, which is bad because it makes finding errors such as misspelled variable or function names harder then it needs to be. Oh and you can refer to any object or variable (and probably functions too, though it never came up for me) with strings, which is convinient (but makes flash slow and inefficient ^^)

Pascal is... conceptually similar, the actual syntax is different but underlying structures are similar.

It's that button that says "Print Screen" on it or "Prt Scr" or something like that that takes a screenshot of what's on your screen and then you can paste it into PaintBrush or something...

The only thing that i could suggest is adding a few more accessories such as belts, earings, blah blah
