I can never finish that comic. I always get to the part where it restarts with the trolls and I get tired of reading for a while. Then I have to start over because I forgot.
What I do remember is always cool though and so is this picture.

They certainly are the best imo.
There are a lot of strange things the fans say about them- things that could be canon and things that could not be canon.
Really- either way- I like whatever their relationship is.
Even though (apparently) it's canon that Karkat likes John (or something like that I've heard) I don't really care if they're a real pairing or it's a pairing or they're just buds or WHATEVER THESE TWO ARE TO EACH OTHER I ENJOY IT.

Yeah, it can be kind of dense. The sheer level of creativity and love for the characters involved makes it worth it though I think.
Actually for all the text involved the troll relationships are at their core not all that complicated. Anatomy aside it's pretty much like humans if hate-f@$#ing were considered part of the norm.
