FULL CALENDAR

In the summer of 2261, Tonpelli was ravaged by the Tech War. Amongst the casualties and devastation lies the waveflier population, which can no longer be found in the wild. Wavefliers are a staple of Tonpelli culture, and they deserve to have the chance to thrive just as much as the refugees on the mainland, in Offshore, and those who still remain on our fallen island. Please consider supporting the cause with our donation which will go towards research and care for critical breeding projects.

Enjoy your own hot curio summer every day with these lovely models on your wall!

Here’s what our models have to say about their involvement in the project-

Venice Agavoi as Mr. January- “Anyone who knows me knows I have been an avid supporter of animal husbandry for many decades. It is important to raise awareness of proper husbandry practices for any pet, but especially these endangered creatures. It is our moral duty as curio.”

Marrow Merseo as Mr. February-  “Wavefliers are an integral and threatened aspect of Undyre society- rebuilding their population is akin to rebuilding and preserving what little is left of our culture. But of course, just like anywhere, people expect something in return for their efforts, and who doesn’t need a calendar full of beautiful creatures?”

Liara as Ms. March-“You kidding? I was so flattered to be asked to participate in something like this! Curio like me - I’m not exactly in the position to give back, so much. If all it takes is a picture to help out a critically endangered species, sign me up anytime! Conservation is kinda my thing, you know. Sure, it’s usually ancient artifacts and tech, but… Still.

…Say, do we get a copy of the calendar too? You know. For, uhm, posterity?”

Emrys as Mr. April- “I was talked into this kind of out of nowhere, really. I was meant to just loan out my waveflier- oh. The wavefliers? They’re great. Mellow buggers, such a nice temperament. They didn’t deserve what they got during the war, so… If taking a few photos can help them in the long run then who am I to say no.”

Monarch as Mx. May- "You know, I've never, like, even seen a waveflier before I was contacted about this project! Not in person, anyway. And to be honest, they don't look all that great in most photos. They've got some rough angles, you know? But they're really beautiful, if you look at them the right way. I know there are a lot of people who only care about something if it's pretty, and nice to look at. So I think this calendar will appeal to curios you might not normally be able to, like, get through to."

Harbor as Ms. June- "... It's for a good cause. I don’t think anything else needs to be said."

Eduardo as Mr. July- “Wavefliers… Wondrous and beautiful creatures of the semi-aquatic variety… They are not some… random, lowly endangered species from across the world that no curio would ever see in their life, and… even if it was, why should you care less about them? Every animal in our world and outside of it deserves their respect, and wavefliers even more so from their gracing us with their ability and comfort and warmth…” Exhausted from passion for the cause, he had to recover with a six legged protein snack.

Castia Aphelise as Ms. August- “The wavefliers we modeled with aren't decoration for some racy pictures, it's the other way around. I think that's the real point of this project. We’re trying to get people to see just how beautiful wavefliers are. If we lost them for good, we’d all be much poorer for it. I feel like that's enough of a reason by itself to help. It goes deeper than that, though.”

Luther Escutcheon as Mr. September- “Well…they’re kinda a symbol, they’ve been associated with Tonpelli for a long time. If they disappear completely, it’s like Tonpelli - or at least a nice part of Tonpelli - disappears with them. Besides, they’re just the best! They make great family pets, they’re all noble and stuff, and loyal to boot. Totally trainable…” He coughed at the mess at the photo-shoot, but we don’t judge.

Salavarius Lockhart as Mr. October- "Wave fliers are an important aspect of Tonpelli culture, and as such, the Lockhart family is honored to lend support to preserving and ensuring the continuation of this noble and now endangered animal. In the years following such tragedy, it is important to remember that we can move forward, and that like the wave fliers, we are strong enough to endure."

The Wave as Mr. November- “What happened on Tonpelli was a [...] disaster. They got caught in a crossfire, and they don’t deserve to die out just because we can’t make up for a [mistake]. Plus I guess I owe the conservationist guy. Helped me figure out how to keep mine alive when everything was [bad]. If this is what it takes to get people to [care], this is what it takes.”

Fern as Ms. December- “The wavefliers are a symbol of Undyre culture, of course I’d do what I could to help! We can’t let them die out- not after all of this! Um… I wish this’ll help more people remember that they’re still out here, but they need help. A lot of it…”

We also asked the wavefliers for their input, but they were so excited they attempted to eat the tape recorder.
