Born into the Frostbacks and raised among them, Maw has known nothing but a harsh life in the inhospitable cold and an unsympathetic community. The fact that she's lived to 35 is proof of the lengths she is willing to go to in order to survive and she prides herself on her considerable kill count. She's covered in scars, coming from a variety of sources. Being on the small and skinny side (being malnourished growing up was largely responsible for this), she always had to prove herself to her peers by being the meanest bitch in the room. Some of the older scars are from duels she constantly challenged her peers to, some are from battle against halls and her personal hunts, and some are from her direct kin.

Maw leads her own roaming camp of Frostbacks, but often strikes out on her own and enjoys finding other Eisgar to hunt for sport. It is extremely inadvisable for anyone- especially mainlanders- to approach her. If you've been noticed, it may already be too late. Her preferred weapons are tools that punish her opponents for coming too close- a man catcher and a multi-tailed sword whip. When possible, she likes to toy with her opponents and watch them lose strength as they bleed out. It is not pretty, and her bloodlust is an equal opportunity. While she's a respected leader for her ferocity and unwavering will, she is not exactly approachable and leads her camp with an iron fist.
