I was trying my best to make it in time, but i failed 8( One month on animation isn't much, especially if you have other stuff to do. So, one week late, but:Happy birthday Neigh Sayer! 8D I hope you like it.
No more birthday animations for now. It's to stresfull XD

Animating in flash isn't hard. The hardest thing is to learn, how to use flash (2 hour long video tutorial and week of training, and you can do some easy stuff).

I was always using Adobe programs for animations. Started with Adobe Flash Professional 8 and now I'm using Flash CS.6, so I can't tell you anything about other programs 8/
I can tell you, that if you find a good tutorial, it doesn't really matter which program you'll use.

Evening Song lands in a flutter of huge wings, a happy smile on her face. She looks around curiously. "Hey, this is a pretty nice place!" she remarks, catching your eye in the process.
"Hi, I'm Evening Song!" she says cheerily. "I was really impressed with the film you did of Think Pink dancing with Neigh Sayer! It's funny how it seemed both happy and sad, though Pink's face at the end definitely nudged it toward happy, at least in my mind."
She takes a quick glance at some other pieces in your gallery, oohing and aahing as she goes. "This is great stuff! Mind if I look around for a while longer?"

"Yay!" Evening cries with a happy flutter of wings. "You're very kind!" She wanders about, stopping for a while to look at the Liara picture, then lingering over Soprano Keys.
"That mare looks familiar," she muses quietly. "I wonder if she was playing last year when I sang at the Luna Lounge? There's something about her smile...."
Finally she turns away to smile at you again. "So how's it going?" she asks brightly as she slowly walks towards you.

"Yeah, it's been busy in here!" she nodded agreement. "That must feel good! It's kind of like applause after a good performance."
Sitting down near you and folding her wings against her sides, she tilted her head curiously. "So what's on the horizon for you? Any special art projects coming up?"

For now a drawing something for a contest, later I want to do a few more drawing for myself. In the meantime i trying to finish my training animation, which i started 6 months ago and still haven't finished it -_-.
I also learned a few things about you, but unfortunately nothing popped out yet 8/

"Oh, that's okay," she said happily. "I admit I'm hoping to stick in your head a little bit," she winked, "but I'm just having fun being here, too!"
Pondering your plans she nodded. "It's hard to finish things like that. I start a lot of songs that I can't quite find the way to end! Sometimes I have to discard them and try something new instead."
Her eyes widened slightly. "That gives me an idea!" she said brightly. "I could write a song about all the unfinished work that gets left behind, a sad trail of unloved creations, longing to be touched once more." Her eyes shone with emotion. "So much sadness! Blues, I think," she muttered as she pulled out a pad and pencil and started to scribble furiously, barely even seeing Maxi any more.

I'm trying not to discard my ideas, especially if they're good. Also I can't discard something I didn't even started 8) Starting 10 projects and never finishing them was ma curse back in the days 8)
I would love to hear that song, if you ever finish it 8) I'm listening to music whenever I can and when I can't I'm trying to sing them. Then it's better, if you not nearby me, or your ears will start bleeding XD

She looks up from her pad, blinking. "Oh! I doubt you're as bad as you think you are," she said with a smile. "Almost everypony can sing, especially if they practice or get lessons. That's part of why I teach!"
She glanced at her scribblings and nodded. "I'll work more on that later," she said half to herself. "So, Maxi: how did you overcome your curse of unfinished projects? I'd love to hear a tale of your heroic defeat of procrastination!" She giggled softly at the idea.

Well...I'm not getting any lessons in singing 8) When the music is playing and I know the words, I'm just singing along (is this sentence even proper?)
How I overcome that? If I had a lot of ideas, I just chose two of them (no more, no less) and write down the rest of them (so I won't forget). Depending on how I felled that day, I worked on one or the other one (another weird sentence...I think). If I really wanted to start a new one, I was just saying to myself: "Nope. You could chose the other ones, but you went with those two. They're nearly done (you need to be very convincing, especially if you drew just a few lines^^), so finish them first." Also, listening to music helped with my concentration, so I wasn't thinking too much about other stuff. If you endure a few projects like that, then it's possible to gain control over that curse 8) Just remember: No excuses! If you do it once, then you WILL do it again.

She grinned. "It's close enough," she said with a little giggle. "I certainly understood you."
She tilted her head as you spoke. "That's... actually a pretty disciplined approach," she said admiringly. "I'm not nearly so strict with myself, which is probably why I still have some bad habits."
With a little blush in her cheeks she glanced at the 4th wall and tapped gently at a crack she found in it. "And neither is my Typist," she said, throwing a wink at... somepony, it seemed, though where they might be was mysterious.

She grinned a little sheepishly, her cheeks pink. "I've learned a lot from being around Pinkie Pie," she said, drawing aimlessly on the ground with a hooftip. "She's where I learned what the 4th wall is, and some of the soft rules about when to bend and break it. I don't make a habit of it."
As she pondered language use she chuckled. "I tend to use relatively complex language and vocabulary. My parents were a bit on the intelligent side and didn't really use baby talk with me, so I grew up speaking coherently from an early age. That has affected my life in a lot of ways, mostly positively."
She glances back at your gallery. "So what got you into drawing, anyway? Have you done it all your life?"

I'm glad. I prefer to use a short and simple sentences, but sometimes it's just impossible to say, what you want to say, without complicating things a little 8/
Well...It can be a little strict at the beginning, but when you get used to it, it's not that bad^^
So you're also a 4th wall breaker? 8) I love characters like that. They feel like they're really alive.
