A quick homage to one of my favorite books: The Witches, written by Roald Dahl, with illustrations by Quentin Blake.
The story and the artwork has always stuck with me over the years. Rediscovering the story and illustrations has allowed me to gain a new respect and appreciation for both the writer and the artist.
This will possibly always be one of my favorite childhood books. The most note worthy aspect of the story was, in my opinion, Roald Dahl’s take on the witch’s appearance and characteristics. ^ ^
