this is so rocking!! the lighting is fab and i just love the colours
this is the best comment i could muster up after 3+ hours of working at my resume and falling asleep.
i need sleep now.
this pic is so wow. it makes 150 shots worth it. I just hope it was a digital cam, not film, or it wouldve been mighty pricey

how did you get that PERFECTION of a drop above and are the colors a dye added at all or light play or reflection of color or what?

wow, pretty hot, though the splash seems a little out of focus near the back, maybe not shoot wide open? though it may have come out that way no matter what, still looks great, colors are good too +fav

The subtlety of the orange and violet bordering the red in the center is quite captivating. My favorite part would have to be the miniature whirlpool on the left that almost seems to be sucking the splash toward it. Good use of the different lighting colors, really brings out the sumptuous texture.

Sweeet! Your efforts were well rewarded.
Out of curiosity what's that happening next to the splash? Just to the left there. If it's possible to stop down the aperture just a little, perhaps having the whole of the splash in sharp focus would tweak this image just a little further. Really nice work, mxpwr.

the water looks like something done in 3dsmax, which is good. I like photos that look artificial. Capturing reality's easy. Making reality is much harder. I hope that made sense.

perfect drop, but i think its a tad oversharpened, isnt it? especially around the drop in the top...
besides that little constructive criticism its wonderful. one of the best and colourful shots of a drop i have seen in a while. well done and worth all the 150 tries to get it. i'm jealous of your patience though.
