long exposure of a building at Baylor--- and i used an orange filter to get the color... im overexposed to get the light to come out thorugh the filter... comments are much appreciatedRelated content

WOW... another spectacular spectacular piece of eye candy from you... I am really diggin the orange and it really helps bring out the colors in the lights. The tilt of the camera adds tons to this shot and the perspective is just perfect. Lovely work

This is prolly one of my faves in ur gallery, caught at just the right angle with amazing lighting. the curve at the top of the archway is a really nice touch that binds the composition... I woulda darkened off the outside of the structure a tad more tho to give that looking through the keyhole effect

...if so, both images are so different and yet both excellent
you once again have that odd angle and beautiful capture of repetition...
...yet now instead of that gentle green there is a warm amber
the colouration and lighting change the feel of the image...

Beautiful composition, and I absolutely love that angle. Love the way it's set *just* off, so that it isn't too overwhelming, just creates a really interesting effect. And I love the warm golden-orange glow.

Oh, I do so love this one- not to be too redundant, but because of the angle. It could have been done badly by over- angling, but the acuteness sets it just slightly off kilter; and the orange filter added to that provides for a really interesting alternate view of things. Plus the kind of black void around the edges of the frame adds for an almost twilight zone, time continuum kind of effect. Greatness.

This is an outstanding picture. One question...how did you get the picture to angle? Photo manip or was there a ledge where you could turn the camera and capture the lower edge of the picture as black? Textbook use of the orange filter...it really brings out the colors of the bricks and keeps the light glare to a minimum. For some reason no one around here sells the Cokin filter attachment for my camera, which is beginning to piss me off because I can't use my Tiffen filters with color film.
