An older reference for the Celestial Beings, before it was replaced by the current one .

Back when I was figuring out their baseline design, I had an idea to give them these weird telescopic appendages what would retract while flying, but extend on the ground to serve as legs. It didn’t stick, however, and all of the subsequent iterations lacked the anatomy suitable for this kind of locomotion (except for "Nephilim ", but those have their own thing going on). For this reason, I decided to update the reference to reflect this change – but if you still like the original, quasi-bipedal look, here it is.
