Description
With project Shadow ending prematurely, it is the question wether the "Ultimate lifeform" is actually functioning as expected.

It is a shame "Sonic" canon didn't explore this more, especially BECAUSE canon Shadow lore indicates he is malfunctioning. Why does Shadow prefer guns and using weaponry? Because he burns up. He burns up pretty quickly compares to Sonic, so to safe energy Shadow uses manmade equipment that helps him get the job done more easily.
This way, even the canon story could focus more on the actual differences between the two hedgehogs. Shadow has strength, and can even build up energy for chaos attacks without a chaos emerald, while Sonic has his extreme stamina. Both can use chaos attacks/control with a chaos emerald, so it would be a shame to give Shadow only the possibility of chaos use WITH a chaos emerald. Ignoring these differences erases the unique aspects of both the characters.
