A small concept i made a couple weeks ago (maybe last week?) but i forgot to post! lol

Not sure what do i watched around those days, but i had that "parasite/alien" thing in mind.

So most of all, here i tried to work with a more limited hue palette BUT considering a wider range of values (yes, the same old problem of not going dark as i should)

Anyway, it was also an excuse for experimenting with a quicker "method" of painting.

I used a rgba brush (krita) which is basically a really cool texture brush, and set it to "screen", choose a dark greenish yellow, and started to paint in a layer. The first layers or "washes" of paint were quite dark, but as i kept adding more washes/layers (don't confuse with "layers" of the app) the texture of each new "wash" in "screen" started bringing those interesting metal like highlights! Its an interesting effect, tho kind of tricky hehe.
