The world of Far Tomorrows RPG setting is not "Entropic" though heavy inspiration is taken from works such as Zothique, Night Land, New Sun. At about a thousand of thousands of years into the future the Earth still abides and the universe is still very young. Man's now ancient civilization in layer after layer is but an eye-blink. Still shadows are growing longer and the edge of entropy is steadily approaching. Time is weaker due to the works of the Wizard-Lords of eons past and travelers from the past and future and other spaces are not unthinkably rare anymore. Most merely add to the spice of life but there are some dangers.

The most pronounced is the "End Dragon" and its attempt to spread its reach before it exists. Its time is the last epoch when the Time of Stars is but an eye-blink of an eye-blink five times the time of Man's entire history will be in the future. All is dark and the Dragon is born at last to devour the remaining energy and all the lore of all the time before to try to take control of the next creation. More dreadful still is it reaches backwards to talk to dark depraved persons and tempts them with a paradise under its new universe. They become monsters willing to commit any crime to further this goal but slaves for to have this beast know of you is to give it eternal power over you that not even death is an escape!

This shadowy cult tends to produce very deadly Black Magicians along with many 'sleeper' agents that appear normal and can live a blessed, exalted life but on a command do the most horrific of deeds. The Agnost Orthodox Church stands in utter denouncement as abomination this cult and is one of the few things that most other factions, such as the Witches of the Eros cult agree with the church on.

These are kind of default "Bad Guys" and I mean REALLY bad. I won't tell people how they "Can" play the game of course. Thats the difference between us and the hyper-politically correct 'tourists' trying to ruin the genre. Still a game with these guys being the PCs... I'd be scared by that than any vulgar near F.A.T.A.L. boy's naughty fantasy Adult only campaign.
