OK folks... first... thank you so much for the Daily Deviation. I haven't been to the site for a couple of weeks and *POW*! All your comments blew me away.
Secondly, actually, the full title of the piece is: ARISTOCRACY 2032: MISTRESS LINN UNPLUGGED FROM SECURITY FOR THE SAKE OF UNCONDITIONAL LOVE .... perhaps that will guide you a little further into different interpretations of the piece. I won't go into the actual discussions during the shoot when motives, goals and inspirations were discussed. It's interesting to see everyone's views, but it generally centers around the theme what we are willing to do for complete love.
Jeffery Scott is an incredibly talented artist and my very good friend, and it has been a complete honor to be able to work with someone of such vision, skill and intellectual capacity. Please support his artwork at: [link] . I'm going to try to urge him to present himself here and he can answer all your questions concerning process and technique (heck, I just sat in front of his camera).
Thank you again for viewing. Your encouragement is greatly and gratefully appreciated.

You are trying to achieve an aged and worn look to this image but you are missing the most important factor, the image was taken with a digital camera so therefore it generally has far less grain than film cameras, it would look the part a lot more if you added grain in PS or some other handy program.
Congrats on the DD btw

Oh my
I completely indulge myself in this sort of mood, this genre of vision...
This one has the mood, alright.
Very clever. Makes it intiguing which things where there in the first place when the photo was taken, and which never existed, to then appear out of nowhere.
Congratulations on the DD, well deserved

This image entrances and terrifies me at the same time. The detail and the atmposphere is incredible, stunning, perfect, so for that alone you can have a . For the extrapolation of what society might be like... there's a sort of duality about women at the moment. There's all the feminism/equality hanging over from the 60's and getting out of hand still, but there's the continual degradation of them over the Internet that this seems to come from - the portrait in the background, the mechanical head of such stereotypical beauty...
If there were anything to complain about it would be the cables wiring into the machine - it seems very flat and out of place at that specific point. It's a bit of a minor detail though, to be honest.
I just love this kind of retro sci-fi at the moment. It fills me with joy and intrigue.

How did you make all of the dust, scratches, light spots, stains and scratches? Are these all brushes in Photshop? If so, please tell me how to find them because I've been looking for something like that for so long. Outstanding photograph, I love the old-fashioned brown style.

Absolutely adore it
I fav-ing it
I love the old look and kinda vintage feel to a futuristic scene, that's the way post modernism feels to me, also the theme is brillant, the expression on the face of the male model is amazing, also the uber tidy clothes, the wallpapers in the back, EVERYTHING.
