Lots of art on the way.

And my unhealthy obsession continues. I have drawn an awful lot of Marx lately; I can't make up my mind whether I like him as much as Dedede, but he's at least my second favorite. But he's like Apple Jacks; I have no idea why I like him. I just do.

Also, for some reason, I find listening to Michael Jackson helps me to draw him.

Boring artist blather: I actually drew this on New Year's Eve, on paper (I've got this digital art dependency I'm trying to break ), in Crayola crayons because why not. I liked the drawing, but the coloring was not remotely presentable -- apparently my crayon skills have not developed much in the past decade, go figure. So I painted over it in Photoshop, trying for that...well, painterly feel. There were some places where the crayon and paper texture still poked through, so rather than cover them up I just copied a blank part of my sketchbook over the whole thing for texture. I'm pretty pleased with the result.
