3/24/18 Edit: Gosh, this old thing keeps popping up in the weirdest places. I'm flattered that folks seem to like it even after all these years, but I like to think I can do a lot better now! Give my more recent pieces a look:---
I apologize for all of the empty gray non-backgrounds. Maybe one day I'll think of something prettier to put in that space, but right now I'm just trying to force myself to actually upload art. I don't know why it's so hard for me. I'm like a digital hermit.
Anyway...well, Spyro needs no introduction, no explanation, and no excuse. He's SPYRO.

You're welcome! :3 And no, the Gimp can't do that. I'm afraid I don't know anything about Flash alternatives; if there's a free one out there, I don't know anyone who's used it, so I couldn't verify whether it's any good or even safe to use.

i could really imagine him going "Hey Hunter! come over here! There's something down there. i think it's an egg! race you down there!" in this pic [assuming the background would have him looking down from a ledge]
cool amount of emotion in the pic. really captures his cheerful personality [though it lacks his sarcastic side. difficult to capture in pics]. i think his actual upper skull, around the forehead, could be a bit larger to perfect him. but for all intents and purposes, this is a great Spyro pic.

In hindsight it has long bothered me that I drew him looking down without giving him something to look at, but I like the scenario you've come up with! You've made sense out of my nonsense. X3
The lack of his sarcastic edge has also bothered me; I think at the time I drew it I was on a kind of sugary sweet draw-everyone-super-happy spree. XD Quite right about the shape of his skull, too; making foreheads too small seems to be a habit of mine, and one I'm trying to train myself out of. :3
