More practice with faces! A lot across the spectrum here for me, particularly in different perspectives/styles. Needless to say, I think the best one I did was the one in the middle, an image of Mulan I saw that I wanted to try. (Progress was from left to right). The first was just a simple side headshot. While It's not all that great in my opinion, I really think I was a bit more conscious of line thickness in this series of sketches. It really helped make some stuff pop and fill out places that would've either otherwise looked weak.

Part of me wants to re-open the file just to fill in Mulan's eyebrows just to see it pop, but I digress. I'd say the biggest thing with her I'd change if I could is make her nose a bit more forward. Currently it just looks a bit too flat to me. Overall I think she came out the best though, but in all cases I think I made some progress with mouths from a few different perspectives. Unfortunately the last left a lot to be desired, but I'm blaming some of it partially on being a lefty, if that's an excuse at all. Just the way I was approaching this drawing had me doing a lot of my strokes from right to left for some reason, leading to a lot less confidence. Additionally most of my practice has been limited to rounder faces/curves, so dealing with something more angular while fun, was certainly a new undertaking for me. That said, I'd like to do more in that regard to improve!

No big complaints though; this was a good session!
