Day 24 - Coffee

I've been doing a lot of fancy/specific drinks this month such as particular flavours of tea or region-specific flavours, but I also want to pay homage to the classics, so this witch is dedicated to coffee. Just coffee. There for us when we need it. When the world is burning down, or to keep us from burning the world down. With cream, with sugar, with flavour shots or sprinkles or "a little something extra" to get you through the day, or just black. Coffee is here for us. Coffee deserves a witch.

As for the art itself, I'm actually really happy with this one. I know that there's not really anything that stands out about her compared to the other witches (she's not that flashy), but I like how the art turned out in this one. I like her expression. I just think she's cute.

I actually did a character design based on coffee probably a year ago now that I considered revisiting, but didn't want to dig through old sketchbooks to find it (I go through so many...) so just started from scratch. (I also technically did a coffee witch last year for the ice cream witches, so I wanted to make sure I didn't copy that one, either.)

Done with Ohuhu markers and Polychromos on Strathmore marker paper. Background done with Liquitex Acrylic Ink.
