you'll be dissapointed. They just hang out and have fun, non-romanticly. And only for a couple of pages.
Static in TT has a crush on Aquagirl.

Actually I never see that. Aquagirl apporched Static, but I don't see vice versa.
PS: I read your blog at livejournal and in one of them you mentioned Static ask Aquagirl out for lunch or something, but actually the girl there is Bombshell, not Aquagirl.

Well when they first put him in TT he talked to her and almost seemed like he was trying to impress her (and offered to beat up that creepy face guy who was saying rude things to her). Then she jumped past his window in a bikini and he definitely noticed. But after that, no, they didn't interacted much.
Either way.... I really don't like Aquagirl or the way she was written.

And in my defense, trying to make sense of the Felicia Henderson run of TT gave me a headache. So if I got something wrong from one of the panels, that's why.

True. At that period, I wrote some of my thoughts about those two in my diary.
First, it's indeed Aquagirl who apporched Static. About their first interaction, I think I kind of understand why Static said that Aquagirl is "someone who can understand", since in the comic he kinds of fight alone, without being a legacy/sidekick and has no partner. Besides, he and Aquaqirl both experienced the dark side club and came to a new team together, so in some aspects they're alike.
As for the jumping incident, I'd say that I would react just the same if I saw someone do that. xD
In short, what I want to say is, at the beginning, it's OK to feel "something" between them, but I just don't think it's "flirt" as some people stated in their posts. Of course, it may depend on how you define "flirt".

I guess its all up to interpretation. Almost seemed like they were flirting and it wasn't until later issues that it was more clearly shown she wanted Blue Beetle's attention, not Static's.
Doesn't really matter since he left the TT anyway now.

That so? Well, whatever. Maybe it's also cultural gap or something like that becase I really can't see it as "flirt" or "crush" or things like that.
As for attention, do you think there's something strange between Aquagirl and Superboy too? I mean in the issue in which Cassie saw they two talking from the monitor. I can't understand the page where Superboy is flying away while Aquagirl is looking at him, and it seems that she's thinking about something. Or maybe I'm just thinking too much?

In that issue Aquagirl was very friendly with Superboy (and once again, in a bathingsuit). But Cassie is his girlfriend and unless they break up, I don't think it's going to go anywhere.

I don't think it's going anywhere, I just can't understand that page. (Not the talk part, it's the page I mentioned above)
PS: Superboy and Wonder Girl's relationship does have issues now, and it's possible that they break up since in JT's preview Superboy is kissing someone else.

oh well there's always fanfiction/fanart. and who knows, future issues might change things (as Aquagirl isn't interested back in Static, she likes someone else... and the guy that Miss Martian liked is now dead). But yeah, for now they are just friends/teammates.
