Finished! finally.A party I imagined Ralph would rather have.
Gotta have mario, Ryu and link in there.
And yes, Link made it to an arcade, in Super Smash Bros Melee: [link]
I drew Ryu with tea, I think he is that type to appreciate tea. XD

how you work is different to me, and it's always interesting to see if there could be something to adapt from other people techniques

i work differently using different methods based on the requirement of the style. Sometimes all B/W first, sometimes straight into color and use a black layer on mode hue or something to keep values in check. This particular style sort of required me to do cell shading first then soften all edges and reink them, i don't know if i got it right, I was trying to go for the same look at least.

So many things to love about this picture, but my favorite is the little Ralph and Felix figures on the cake. Just a nice detail there.

I like how much it fits with the style of the movie - not only do you have the main characters, but all the various secondaries doing their own thing around them. (BTW, I still think Nintendo was stupid for not letting Mario appear, only get a mention.)
Bonus points for the "I-dunno-about-this" Gene in the background.

i love how silly some of his lines are. "You are just a bad guy who wrecks the building!" (such a arcade world line)
It does remind me of how we treat "bad" people at times, with a sense of justice. I like how he is "a man of his word" though. XD

The movie was awesome! And i was really hoping Mario, Link and more of the Nintendo crew was in it! This is awesome and should of been a scene in the movie!
