Description
To make highlights, I go to 'layer' and 'create addition layer'. Now, the addition layer takes a little experimenting...for example, if you want the color of the highlights to be more blue, then you'd have to choose a dark blue color (lighter colors will show up as white). In the pic above, the highlights are orangey, so I used a brownish-orange color.Related content

^o^ Addition layers are so fun! But what puzzles me is the subtraction layer.. can I make a request for you to make a future tutorial on using the subtraction layer? o.o :beg: !

AH~~ Addition. I've been thinking people were using the saturate tool then dodge tool in Photoshop to do that. This looks easier and makes more sense. Thanks! ^^
