I've been wanting to paint a woman for a while, to show some appreciation for the fairer sex. The idea was to buck the old trend of portraying women as immaculate, glamorous supermodels. Girls can be just as alluring and feminine in a more casual setting. I've also been trying not to use any reference images lately, so this was entirely from my own head.
