As long as the foreArm is bent a certain angle, the arm length required to reach ( the hand) a target position is satisfied.
Then the shoulder rotates so that the shoulder-to-hand arrow points at the target. The shoulder has an infinity ( no really )
of ways to achieve this. But i want to be able to dial in a shoulder pose that doesn't strain Amy's arms, usually the
shoulder-Twist hurts the most. in this case unTwisting the shoulder would reduce strain on her wrist and improve
her ability to squash the ring
