For my next pic in ToonJune, Here my second favorite characters in the Animaniacs cast(next to Pinky and The Brain and Rita and Runt),Slappy Squirrel,the elderly retired cartoon star who still has the guts to outwit and fight against foes and her happy-go-lucky nephew,Skippy. I usually loved this two,since they have such a great dynamic. It’s a shame these two weren’t as popular enough and didn’t have the chance to get their own show as much as Pinky and the Brain did(even their absence in the 2020 reboot was explained in Good Warner Hunting when they were kidnapped by Chicken Boo(disguised as a hunter)and mounted on the wall),but neverless,I still love these two and Slappy is still the crankiest of critters who would attack her enemies and outwit them,proving that despite being old,she’s strong and badass as ever. I hope they would make a comeback in the reboot when Season 2 comes along with Hello Nurse and Mr.Director too.

Also,to keep with the style and tradition of the reboot, I colored Slappy’s white overlays in her fur color to be light gray if she and Skippy appeared in the 2020 reboot much like how the Warner’s and Pinky and the Brain’s white skin color were given much of a ivory white/yellowish tint in the reboot.
